Maurice Sjerps considers his initiative as his duty towards mother nature. He has taken part in many reforestation and 'save the environment' projects in the past years. 1. Use of Fluorescent Lamps: Fluorescent bulbs are a bit costly, but they last longer and save energy. So, you not only save the environment but also save electricity bill.
2. Recycle/Donate: If you have clothes or any stuff that is still usable, don't throw it away, give them to the needy ones. If something can be recycled, do it, the more do recycle or donate, the more you save the environment.
3. Electrical Device: Maurice Sjerps suggests to turn off the electrical devices when not in use This saves energy as well as electricity bill.
Other tips include washing of clothes using the recommended amount of detergent, walking and cycling more than driving, repairing the leaky taps at home, and collecting rainwater.
Maurice Sjerps says that one can follow these tips at home and start saving the environment right from the home.
